I watched "mars needs moms" (its an animation) and at the end of the movie alongside the credits they rolled some behind the scenes clips of how exactly the actors do it. Its pretty cool.

going off topic here... About that one "live actor" comment, Mac. Animated movies these days actually have live actors. (That's news for me at least.. I saw they were doing this in games, but never figured movies...) Motion capture is actually quite an old tool.. but these are not used in actual animation movies like Tangled or Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.. those are full animated movies and made without any motion captures (except in vfx).. Motion capture is mostly used when there is a mix between live action and vfx/cgi or where the movie desires what is called "realistic animation".. like in case of avatar, avengers, transformers etc because the cgi (computer generated imagery) will be very tough to match to the live actors.. so actors themselves act and 3d/motion capture softwares record them.. I love proper animated movies, being a traditionalist.. motion capture takes the fun out of these movies but yeah makes it a better watch for people.. Sounds good to me, I'm kinda tired of hate groups and anything around them.
