Not to defend this crap but in western world everything related to sex is usually pretty biased towards woman too and not considered "that bad" when a guy does the same things.

Under Sharia law, a woman can be classed an adulterer by being raped. Not that rape victims are much better treated in the "civilised" west.

Plenty of people here don't think that there is one woman treated well in any Islamic country and that every Muslim man is a brutal savage.

The funny thing about religion is the hypocrisy, this I feel one of its only saving graces and one of its many disgraces (imho). Where you would think people would have to believe and act in one way because it was a defining element in their doctrine, they instead act totally different.

I for instance know more than one gay devout Christian, which as a statement should be an oxymoron but nonetheless 'Christians' is how they feel and act (for the most part) and how they wish to be considered. For another example I also spent an evening with (amongst others) 2 lesbian Muslims, one of whom wouldn't eat bacon for breakfast the next day because of her faith, once again 'Muslim' is how that person wishes to be considered and how others (most of which from whom she has to hide her orientation) consider her.

People are people at the end of the day and while a doctrine may be considered evil it is very ignorant to assume all who incorrectly or correctly consider themselves followers of that doctrine are part of "Just a pure evil race".

With regard to the execution, it is abhorrent.
