Default Disgusted at release sites offering weapons making guides

I am utterly disgusted at some sites with a few recent of their post featuring weapons making guide.... ( just for educational purposes ) excuse does not cut it for me. There is not need to make that kind of literature easy to access with what just happened who know what could stem from this, its disrespectful, stupid and disgusting. i am not against weapons ( they have their purpose, questionable at times but.... ) but there are some nuts jobs out there and the less they see on this kind of stuff the more secure people can be. With people lives at stake there is no need to disseminate this kind of info around.

a damn freaking shame really!

Do you actually think that just because they offer it, that will make it easier for people to find it?
LOL!!!

This stuff has been readily available for a long time.
Even before the advent of the (GASP!) internet!
I used to go down to the local library when I was a kid and get all kinds of these books on making your own home made dynamite, bombs and even fireworks.

Problem in today's world is that everyone wants the government to protect them with more regulations and that means taking away your rights.
You can bet that those books at the library were pulled due to some regulation!

I disagree, you should have the freedom to learn what you want.

True, as long as the subject to want to learn more about isn't advertised everywhere.
Also, isn't it mandatory in Russian High School to learn how to setup a AK?
Just a question.

No other countries have such viscous gun crimes, when will America wake up and do something about it?

You always go on about your rights and liberties, the rest of the world seems to do ok without the need to own an m16.

I can name 8 countries that have higher homicides by gun crime than the U.S. and 21 countries with higher non Gun Crimes, and 15 overall violent crimes than the U.S.

Well, that's the nice thing about tehParadox being a family orientated site. Not going to find much tolerance here for illegal types of How-To's.

Overall Homicide per 100,000

Colombia 62.74

Mexico 14.11
Paraguay 12.05
Estonia 10.45
Belarus 10.13

Barbados 7.49
Zimbabwe 7.24
Costa Rica 6.57
Poland 5.61
Uruguay 4.61
United States 4.55

Remember this is by per 100,000. It may seem like there's soooooo many but you have to remember that the population of the United States is over 300 million people. Also the shear size of the United States is massive. I mean the UK has an estimation of 94,060 sq mi while Texas has the estimation of 268,580 sq mi.

People think it's extremely easy to just have a gun but it's actually kind of difficult. You need a permit, and then there's licenses depending on the state, and then there's other kinds of fees as well. If everyone had a gun as people in other countries thought then there would be a lot more deaths. You don't hear about Detroit, or Chicago having the amount of Death by gun actions as Juarez Mexico

i did not want to get into a pro-gun against gun debate... but

it amazes me nowadays that you can have a country that allows you to freely buy assault rifles as any other regular weapons...what are you expecting, a zombie invasion? the russian invasion, aliens?....

i would say have a side arm, fine to me, you need to protect yourself, but to be able to have an offensive weapon that can literally mow people down readily available is beyond me...and for those that talks about right,,,what about the right to live? go tell that to the twelve people that lost their lives because of another nut job... how many more times will it take for the people in the states to grow morals and says that hey, maybe we don't need these kind of things in a modern society now....

oh darn, i forgot, those darn lobbyist are paying politician tons of money to keep their weapons factory opened... well no amount of money even in billions of dollars is worth the lost of a child life due to a bullet belonging to an assault gun that a wacko was ale to procure himself....

i can see politicians talk about it for a bit then this is gonna be brushed off as usual...so sad....

I do agree with assault rifles being much. I don't see a need of ever having an assault rifle.

The difference however is that you can't get automatic weapons. So yes you can get an AK57, or M16, but it wont be an automatic. So that's something at least.

please don't start downplaying the fact that its not too bad considering geography or country because if you had these sickos aiming right now at your head i am sure that you would not downplay these sorta things....

its easy to say these kind of things because you were never a victim of such a crime....
