(great...now I'm starting to sound like a serial killer)
haha :D well the thing is while it is true that acid would leave trace of there being acid they can be eliminated, besides quite a lot of people do use acid to clean old bathtubs, drains and so on.
There wont be no remains at all to be analyzed, it is also assuming that the killing is not "known", no one is looking for him.
A fire has always to be investigated, they would notice that it was set and would if you are unlucky and a single bone remainds for some reason... but yeah if you do have the proper stuff to make a fire burn hot enough for the bones, its good.
I wonder if you could get through with "my friend wanted a viking burial" ? :D

How about place thick plastic liner in tub, chop up body, then use acid, then burn plastic liner in fireplace, grind up bones into powder and burn the powder?

People seem to be missing the point, they had a little fun and then they had a good meal. What more could you ask for?

Then mix the powder into a protein shake.

Nope, don't burn the plastic in the fireplace. It'll leave a residue, which would look suspicious if you happen to come under investigation. They might not be able to prove anything with just that but they'll look deeper into your activities.

Take it somewhere in the wilds, dig a good-sized hole then put the plastic in, dump gas all around it and light it up. Once it's nothing but a melted blob bury the whole thing then spread leaves, twigs, etc over it. Scuff it around so it looks as close to the surroundings as possible.

Peace to you and yours,

Dirt in your shoes...and possibly somewhere else you didn't notice. Busted! Also going to places you don't usually go, making people notice you...maybe even hunters would see your activity, etc. That neds to be made in a private place. When you leave the private place you can't have any evidence with you or near you. Hell...burn, put it in a vase and say it's your grandmas ashes if the police knocks on your door! LOL

(I'm starting to get worried for myself....and you! haha)

What can I say? I've been catching up on "Dexter" lately.

And if that excuse doesn't work {though it's true}, I write stories {sometimes} and these are just character ideas. Yeah, that's it!

Dexter has a good tip and its simple - take it to the open ocean.

Australian organised crime have been sending people on one-way cruises on trawlers for years

Its pretty hard to find you when you're 3km underwater with cement shoes. Your flesh will be gone in a week, and bones don't float. Unless by the remote chance someone catches a shark and finds an arm with a tattoo on it (google infamous shark arm case for that one) - hence depth is important.

And trawlers fish at night...so no suspicious movements.

perfect.

Did I mention I have cousins in the fishing industry LOL
