All this rah rah rah for MU. Where are the links? Please direct me to some MU links of 720p caps of HDTV shows. Where are they? What good is a MU membership if I don't have any links to download? I only see RS and NL links for 720p caps of TV shows. Unless MU treats the uploaders better (i.e. better rewards program for the uploaders), there won't be enough uploaders uploading to MU. And so the debate is moot. The downloaders may clamor for MU until the moon is red, but without uploaders uploading to MU, it's a dead point.

I could, but I don't want to get banned for doing so.

hint: try this in google
720p "megaupload.com" (Results 1 - 10 of about 286,000 English pages for 720p "megaupload.com". (0.19 seconds))
or
1080p "megaupload.com" (Results 1 - 10 of about 87,700 English pages for 1080p "megaupload.com". (0.17 seconds))
or
1080i "megaupload.com" (Results 1 - 10 of about 188,000 English pages for 1080i "megaupload.com". (0.25 seconds))
or
HDTV "megaupload.com" (Results 1 - 10 of about 431,000 English pages for HDTV "megaupload.com". (0.22 seconds))

from google's results page, IF you see something that looks promising, open the cached page first.

right click where it says Cached, and open it in a new tab.

you might be surprised at what you find.

actually, all things considered, the reward points are about the same as RS points system (10,000 needed for 1 month account extension)

There are plenty of uploaders uploading to MU, I am a member of 3 different sites that are for MU links only. no other filehosters links are allowed to be posted. (I am also a member at 3 sites that only allow RS links to be posted)

The REAL problem is that too many downloaders want things done Their way. Sorry, but the uploaders are the ones that are taking their time to upload the files.

Please, do me a favor BEFORE you hit that reply Button.....

try the hints I posted above in google

RS is AWESOME
name calling won't win any arguments

True, RS Premium users can upload files up to 2GB,
but only IF they upload it through RSM (RS Manager)
plus, only other Premium users can download files larger than 200MB

on MU FREE users can both upload & download files up to 1GB
Premium users have NO Size Limits

Personally, I have Premium Accounts on both.

I find it easier to upload to RS than to MU,
but prefer to download from MU, since there are NO
download limits for premium users of MU unlike RS that has a daily 2.66GB limit for premium users

now that I have finally mastered the art of remote uploading,
I upload everything to RS 1st, then remote upload it to MU,
and post links for both, for the benefit of the downloaders.

If I didn't explicitly state so in my previous post, let me state it here. I mean with respect to this website. Show me some MU links to 720p version of TV shows here. On here, the super whelming majority of links to 720p cap TV shows are uploaded to either RS or NL. I doubt even 10% of the 720p capped TV shows links on here are MU links.

Not true at all. The reason why I don't like MU and will refuse to upload to MU is because MU's reward system is discriminatory. MU's reward system is certainly not equal to RS reward system.

Here from MU's FAQ:
http://www.megaupload.com/faq/#rewards
Quote:
What is a qualifying download? How do you count the downloads I earned?

Only one download per IP per day per file will be counted. Downloads from certain countries do not count (click here to see a list of qualifying countries). We reserve the right to exclude downloads from certain IP addresses from counting towards your rewards earnings if we detect fraudulent activitiy.
Here are the listed countries:

http://www.megaupload.com/rewardcountries/
How is MU's reward system discriminatory? Simple, it only offers reward points for downloaders from mostly Western, industrialized nations. If you're downloading from one of the many poorer, third world nations, you're sh*t out of luck. Most African countries are not on their list of reward earning countries. China--the most populous country in the world is not on there. Indonesia--the world's fourth most populous nation--is not on that list, neither is Malaysia, Vietnam and scores of other nations. (Hell, if their list is correct, even South Korea--not exactly a poor, third world nation anymore--is on there.) MU's reward system is incredibly discriminatory.

On this point, we're in complete agreement. It's the uploaders who are really in control. Where they upload, the downloaders will follow. Unfortunately for MU, it has discriminatory reward system in place which prevents itself from ever becoming the #1 hoster.

Agreed. Calling names won't win any arguments, but stating facts certainly will. It's pointless to upload files larger than 100MB to MU as only files that are 100MB or less count towards their reward system. I quote from MU's own page:

http://www.megaupload.com/rewards/
Quote:
Files larger than 100 MB do not qualify for our Rewards Program.
MU's Reward system is extremely restrictive. As an uploader, I would never upload to MU. But I will admit that as a free downloader, I do appreciate the speed of MU. And thankfully for the uploader of the files I download, I am from a country where MU does award reward points for my downloading.

strange, even with the restrictions that MU has,
I'm still getting almost an equal amount of MU Reward
Points every day, as I get Rapidpoints.

True, 98% of my uploads are 100MB or less in size per file

as far as 720p TV Shows being posted on here goes,
this site is a primarily RS site.
though posting links on other filehosters is NOT discouraged,
downloads here are primarily RS links

The Comment Below, is NOT aimed at anybody in particular.
It is just a General Observation

IF YOU as a downloader want 720p TV Shows hosted on MU,
then YOU need to go to a site that specializes in MU links,
and look in their HDTV Forum.

I have both accounts and to be honest the speeds around me favor megaupload. RS is fast most of the time but around peek hours, which are 3pm to around 10pm, it's very slow. Megaupload is fast around the clock, 24/7. Uploading and rewards? Uploading wise, I don't upload that much which is why I don't care. As for rewards, I like RS rewards better. Tried megaupload and it just wasn't working for me. If someone has a huge file like 30Gigs or more, RS has nothing on megaupload. RS is pop, while megaupload is underground. Both have their pros and cons. Just my opinion. Thanxz. Peace!!!!!

Megaupload is the best, unlimited download with their happy hour. Why can't people just upload to megaupload instead?

I think Megaupload is better simply because link barely ever get deleted from it while there are many Rapidshare links which are dead. And this is annoying for everyone!

Megaupload is good!
It's annoying how a Rapidshare free user has to wait 15 minutes after downloading any file above 5MB before being able to download again from the Rapidshare service.

I agree. For those who can't afford to pay for premium, I vote megaupload.

like come on RS is nothing compared to MU,

my speeds are always way crappier, with Rapidshare compared to MU (i have premium in both) Like RS is 2.66gb's a day, and MU is unlimited, u really can't beat that.

I can never get speeds like this from Rapidshare with or without the manager.

MU FTW!

on top of that megaupload has a awesome new design on their website!
