I take MU over RS any day. For me, the fastest I've gone on RS is about 150 kb/s while MU it's been well over 600 kb/s and this on both free accounts.

What I found with Rapidshare is that they are not very helpful. They told me I was downloading 20Gb per day on aline that only supports 7Gb per day. I eventually found out that with download acc you must only have 1(One) link per file at a time, not 16. You can havemany files but only one session per file at a time and my usage went back to under 6Gb per day. Their system is not operating crrectly and they did not suggest that this might be problem. They just said that their systm was correct and tha was even after I got letter from my ISP explaing that it was impossible for me to have so much traffic and at the same time giving them the exact traffic figures I was using. So now I download 10 files at a time and only one session per file | ||

Yes, with some download managers if you make 10 connections to a file it will count the file 10X against your traffic. And RS is much more helpful that many of the other hosts. | ||

In my opinion, Megaupload is faster so I like it more. It seems that Rapidshare makes me wait longer when I am a free downloader than in Megaupload.

just to update thispost ii have to say that RS has really gone down hill in terms or service for free and premium users. MU seems to have surpassed in download speeds and quality. I got rid of my premium account from RS cause they have really restricted the amount you can download now 5GB per day. my vote as of today is MU all the way.

I dont have premium so my RS is slow > point for Megaupload. But Netload or some russian hoster with 3gb files are better anyway. | ||
