I installed this and now I get the message---Windows 7 is not original---or something like that! CRAP!

This must be the new update for windows genuine checker..
Daz or some of those guys should have an update for it soon, if they do that..

I have disabled my updates, since I feel W7 doesn't need that many updates.. but I guess, will have to update sometime.. :P

I've heard of people losing net access after installing this update, but you're the first I've heard of that lost validation. What a mess.

I wonder if MS has decided to put WAT as a 'rider' on important updates to catch more pirates. They've done it with service packs.

I think the process is the one written in the readme file only or is it different??.. It dint work for me..

Strange.

I installed that update @ 7 days ago but it made no difference to my copy of w7.

I just uninstalled the update with no problem.

I don't know Dude! I was having no problems until I installed it, then I started getting the" Windows is not Genuine" sign!!! I uninstalled but it is still giving me the same message.

I've just checked, and I've not downloaded it and I've not even been offered it as an update.

WARNING - latest critical update has just frigged my PC - wiped my outlook files, emails, firefox, etc - TURN OFF UPDATES!!!!!!

UPDATE: System restore back to the day before the series of 'critical updates' brings it all back. PHEW!!!!!

BACK UP BEFORE INSTALLING THE LATEST UPDATES.
