Default Odd Cathouse

A cat is seen sitting with five chicks in a bird's cage in Qingdao, northern China's Shandong Province. According to owner Li Tongfa, the cat and the chicks have been living together in the cage for nearly two weeks. He comments: I originally only put the chicks in the cage, but surprisingly my pet cat often went up and played with the chicks. I drove her away all the time in fearing she may eat or hurt the chicks, but, on the contrary, she loves them very much.

Do people normally keep cats in cages?
I didn't think so but I could be wrong.

For some reason I read that as "Old Cathouse". I've GOT to drink more coffee!!

I think that cat is just waiting for his chance. As soon as he gets hungry enough those chicks are done for.

Peace to you and yours,

That's odd, because I thought it said: Old Carthorse.

(Yeah, okay, so it's a mule?!)

My friends parrot rides around on his cats back and sleeps with the cat, the cat is very protective of his emergency rations too.

Emergency rations as in 'Excel Saga' anime(one of the funniest I have ever seen.)

I was thinking more along the lines of; if it is caged it is a food source. Mmmm, chicken and puss stew.
