Default Parents of Adolf Hitler denied custody

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, N.J., May 31 (UPI) -- A New Jersey judge ruled the parents of four children with Nazi-inspired names will not get custody of their kids.

Adolf Hitler Campbell, 6, and his two sisters, Joycelynn Aryan Nation Campbell, 5, and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, 4, have been in state custody since shortly after a Holland Township grocer refused to decorate a birthday cake for the boy's third birthday, The Star-Ledger reported Wednesday.

State officials allegedly took custody of a newborn son, Hons Campbell, just hours after his birth in November.

Now, a Superior Court judge has decided that self-proclaimed Nazis Heath and Deborah Campbell cannot have custody of their children.

"These kids weren't abused. Our kids weren't taken because of abuse," Heath Campbell said. "I'm honest about who I am and what I am."

Lawyers in the case are prohibited from talking to the media by a gag order, but Kristine Brown, spokeswoman for the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services, said, "every call or investigation that DYFS initiates at the end of the day is to determine if the child is at risk or in the midst of child abuse and neglect."

"If I have to give up my Nazism, then so be it. I'll do it," Campbell said. The children are "more my heart and soul and everything than anything."

The Campbells plan on appealing the ruling.

Hitler really ruined the name Adolf. I wish more people use it because I think it's a great name regardless.

Yes, nothing wrong with the name Adolf by itself, but the kid's name was ADOLF HITLER Campbell. The daughter's name was ARYAN NATION for christ's sake. These parents are clearly unfit to raise children and will subject them to a life of ridicule and abuse at the hands of others.

Hitler ruined that little mustache too. I hear it was popular in his day. Now days, only Jordan can pull it off.

It might be ignorant and backwards to be racist or have a misplaced respect for Nazism, but its not a crime. If ignorance was a crime we wouldn't have the politicians we have today. As far as serving a bullet to those with a dissenting belief system goes, that sounds more like something Hitler would do.

I don't see enough here to make a claim as to if the decision was fair or not. Is raising a kid as a Nazi wrong. Yes, but is it any worse than kids with parents devoted to any other form of cult, religion or fundamental belief? Kids can become just as brainwashed growing up in socially accepted groups but because this family labels themselves Nazi it is suddenly terrible.

I absolutely despise white supremacists and the aryan nation and all that horse s#!t so don't think I'm siding with the family I'm just expressing my thoughts.

The deal is as I see it that t was borderline abuse to name your child Adolf Hitler. You are guaranteeing a difficult life where they will have to fight due to their name. It shows a basic lack of caring and putting your child first at the point of birth when you stick a kid with a name you know will p*ss of a large part of the population.

The comments of hu1k and lando909 are spot on. The actual problem here is a group of people taking away the children from a family on the basis of BELIEF.

The US, in part, was founded by a belief in "Freedom of Religion". We are guaranteed the right to FREE SPEECH.

Some pin-headed, nanny state, bleeding heart, nosy, self important a$$ho1es, acting under the guise of Child Protection, have decided that their view and belief is more important than that of these parents.

Look at all the people in the world that are racist. This is usually taught in the family. By the above reasoning, the government should remove any children in such families.

Look at all the children with names either unintelligible, nonsensical, or that guarantee the child a hard life: "April May June" A girl named "Maxwell", a boy named "Sue"(I enjoy the song too), and a myriad of others. All one needs is to peruse a phone book. Go to a school and look up the names of students. Shocking! These children are in danger, we better take them from their home and family!

I do not agree with the "Nazism". As Evelyn Beatrice Hall stated: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." With a small change to "believe" instead of "say".

With this action the government has once again, chipped away the foundation of FAMILY.

I'm on the fence with this one. I mean I guess I can understand because Adolf Hitler was the most evil man of recent generations who has done probably the most wrong mankind has ever seen in a blink of an eye, however if you take away kids from parents who have a belief then you might as well take kids away from parents of the Westboro Baptist church. They protest at Soldiers funerals.

Why these kids? Why not other places like kids from parents who are part of the KKK? Why not kids from parents who are part of the Ghetto because of statistics stating that kids tend to join gangs and place violence upon others?
