School says deaf boy's name sign looks too much like a gun

I split my face open in primary school after being tripped and striking my eye on theleg of a table. That was 45+ years ago and I still have the prominent scar running down beside my eye.

Maybe I should talk to a lawyer and explain how it's ruined my life?
Wonder what it's worth, my life has been shit because of my fear of that horrid scar!

Like you say WS, it happened, if anything, the kids got a clip over the ear for being so stupid and forgetting to duck.
I knew several children who fell off monkey bars and broke arms and legs. They got punished by their parents for being stupid and trying to run across them. Now, councils get sued and parks have nothing for kids to play on but grass.....

LOL reminds me of when i was in elementary school playing chicken on those half sphere things made of bars.....I got hurt really bad many times but hell I survived.
When did parents start sheltering kids so damn much? sue happy maybe? I would not doubt that in the near future all children under the ages of 18 would be legally required to wear helmets and foam padding at all times.Also water wings while drinking anything.

He's just a kid, signing in a particular way shouldn't matter, they need to get over it and move on.

its just come out that the kid was just moved from a secret CIA training pre-school.

He's to be sent to Afghanistan to take out Taliban insurgents in their pre-schools.
