Default Smart Bed can make itself in the morning

It's not hard to make a bed, and it doesn't take more than a minute but that doesn't mean we shouldn't look for complicated technical solutions to the problem of an un-made bed.
The Smart Bed OHEA Automatico is a mechanical bed designed by Spanish firm OHEA, which makes itself whenever you get out. After being put in automatic mode, the bed detects when a sleeper gets out and instantly springs into action.
Mechanical arms pop up on each side of the bed and position the blanket neatly where it should be while the pillows are lifted and then placed back down into position, all in 50 seconds.
Makers say the bed - which is due to be released soon - has safety feature which ensure it cannot operate when there is a person lying there.

I'm only gonna mess it up again when I go for my nap soon.
Went to bed at 5AM, got up at 8AM, it's nearly nap time now.

I agree, if I wanted my bed made I would do it myself. Besides, I like looking at my "Kuune chan" hugging pillow.

There are a lot of hugging pillows out there
But this one is mine
By holding it close
My dreams are so fine......

It would be quite a work out on people who are frequent bathroom users.

Probably wouldn't seem such a great idea after it slices your fingers (or something else) off in the middle of the night... or maybe bursts into flame.... or fries you with mains voltage.

[sarcasm] But yeah, pulling that sheet back up by yourself would be a real chore. [/sarcasm]

Yeah, it's kind of a waste to me too... I mean, one of the joys of being happily married is you and your wife making the bed together. Followed of course by messing it up again...

:)
