ATTENTION! US Downloader 1.35 - now known as UNIVERSAL SHARE DOWNLOADER v1.35

For those of you who used to use US Downloader but can't get it to update - you have to change your UPDATE SERVER list to ADD one of the following servers AND THEN hit APPLY, then UPDATE to update your entire program!

The program name has been changed to UNITED SHARE DOWNLOADER and most of the plugins have been updated, as well. All will be updated if you have all UPDATES checked on the UPDATE Tab (Page).

Don't bother with any plugins with a Capital "P" at the end of their names. Those are only for PREMIUM members of those services. If you use one of those PREMIUM plugins by mistake, you'll get a weird error message about a missing "TXT" file.

Thanks for the warning but NO one indicated HOW to do just that. I entered these SERVER addresses as they needed to be PASTED into the USD program.

BTW.. for those who read this, I Did read the Forum rules... and it says "Code" your addresses but does not explain HOW.

8 .Links must be in [code] tags, without URL tags. (All external links leading away from the site)

Example:

No, Under forum Rules it does NOT say HOW to do it, step by step - as you mentioned (AND this is a direct quote of what it is written:)

- The procedure you are quoted is from a different document that I found after all these exchanges.

The FORUM RULES does NOT explain how to do it. Only a second posting explains how to do so, and THAT explanation you quoted is not on the FORUM RULES document, itself. I checked BACK after reading your post and quoted FORUM RULES in cut/paste above here.

But you're correct - It SHOULD be all part of one document, Rule AND Explanation of how to do it.

So Rest easy, I know NOW how to do it. I just didn't realize your 1st document meant to place the WORD "CODE" in brackets before the http address. The way it read, I was supposed to put in some kind of Coding before the address. Many other boards use that method "[CODE] to refer to some coding that will be explained later, and had been reduced for simplification.

Next time, I'll simply type in the server name, and disregard the "http://" unless it actually IS an address link - since this time, it was simply intended as a server name that was required to be pasted into the USD program and not meant to pose as a link.
