| Luminiferous Ether Sailor ![]() ![]() Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Thailand Posts: 1,616 | They must be using salt water in the slide which is leaking causing the rust.Here in northeast Thailand they just opened a brand new pool complex complete with water slides in the city not far from us a couple of months ago. It's beautiful except they used chrome-plated railings on the stairs and platforms leading up to the top of the water slides and they're already rusted from the salt water. OOPS! I'm guessing chlorinated pools are getting too expensive to maintain so everyone is switching to salt water.
