PLEASE READ!!!
This album, produced by DJ Danger Mouse in 2004, was effectively banned by the major labels EMI and Sony for the heinous crime of daring to sample The Beatles. It is a remix of Jay-Z's Black Album using beats and samples taken entirely from The Beatles' White Album. It was critically acclaimed. Then, it was burned.
Almost all the remaining copies were physically destroyed by EMI. This one survived.
This is the only perfect copy of the Grey Album on the internet.
Please let it multiply. Unlike the CD Downhill Battle pressed for the protest against the banning of the album (Grey Tuesday), which went through a bad mp3 codec during its rescue over peer-to-peer networks, this copy is untouched and was independently "ripped" from one of the few original CDs that escaped.
It is a true archival copy of a lost album. It should be treasured as the art it is, and shared with as many people as possible. It is unedited, complete and compressed with the widely-used FLAC lossless codec. It includes the original covers (600dpi). It is suitable for full-quality repressings of the CD.
