Hmmm, good point sortom. 99% of the Alien releases I've seen were 3412 and a couple were 3385. Depending on the country where it was encoded/released.

I must admit I've never seen 2236 before, other than his thread. I'd be real curious what country that came from and how it can be truly lossless at that low a bitrate (compared to the others)

And also the Star wars in his thread is 1500 kbps.As you say before it can t be DTS hd ma.But he writes *in dts-hd master audios the bitrate is much much higher(each file more than 4000kbps),mediainfo scan not entire file so it is not accurately measured*
to his thread this means the measuremnts will seem wrong?.Because the files are so big espacially the Lord of the rings extended s.I have the dts Es version and it s 2.4 gb but his files 390mb*23 parts over 6 gb.

I would say that the Star Wars is clearly a mistype. He typed the core value twice instead of the avg bitrate.

GUYS,guys you have to mux it to the BD structure and you will see thaht bitrate is much higher. I been shocked that you see this for first time.Matroska scans i thing first 5seconds that way is so small i post it on the begginig of the thread. You have to lot to learn.

thanks raster! so far the netload links seem to be up :)

however shouldnt the extension be .dtshd instead? At least thats how dts-hd master suite encoder does it...

No, DTS is correct. DTSHD extension is the Suite's result with the hex offset, used by authoring houses. It's never used in a final BD. (muxing, via Tsmuxer, corrects what's been created by DTS MA Suite)

The posted track is direct from a post of the movie, containing the HD track, as stated in the op.
PM sent.

Edit: Note that a HD *.dtshd file can be played by the HD Stream Player, however, a HD *.dts file can not. (it's all distorted)
