I couldn't agree more with HomemComH, the 1979 version works much better that the Redux one. Much better.

It's hard to find the non-redux version, so thanks a lot

Thanks for this posting. Sadly I can't play Blu-ray files ...

But perhaps someone here could extract and upload the English subs for the Blu-ray Redux version? Please?

Recently I downloaded the Blu-ray Redux mkv file but can't find any fitting English subs. I have an earlier mkv version made from the DVD release, but for some reason those subs don't fit the Blu-ray Redux version at all.

I apologize, but am a bit confused. I am downloading the Fileserve links now. Is this the 1979 version or the "Redux"? It says that its both, but from the comments, it appears to only be the 1979 theatrical.

Please let me know.

+1 for ^ , i am confused also . the two versions would total 70GB (40&30) but it's 45GB

i am guessing its using seamless branching, ie the movie is broken down into its composite parts and their are 2 different "playlists" for each version. neat huh?
