Aion (NA)

I got a little question for you, about aion :)
When I try to log on to the NA Version i get ''cannot connect to authorized server'', now I do live in europe (I like the NA version better). Is this because i live in EU or is something wrong/servers offline.

I think so, I think it's somehow region locked (remember reading about that somewhere)

I could be wrong though. I haven't jumped on board Aion myself yet, waiting to see when the guild wars 2 release date is so I don't get invested in something I won't really finish.

i'll let you know if I find anything out about it if no one else posts here

If you want to get on the NA servers, I beleive if you use VPN, you can access to the NA version (assuming that your VPN is connecting to a US/Canada IP)

I just might try VPN:) Although they usually give extremely low bandwith which would make my ms be around 500-1000 xD

Yeah, it is. I had that problem when I first registered a while back and I live in europe. I basically downloaded the NA version and had to download the EU version to play.

I was downloading the game to half way before i decide not going for it. Do the region thing happen on NCSoft launcher or when launching game?

Aion is bad, I remembder playing lineage II a few years ago and reading the hype about the game and debating if I should pay to play. I'm very glad I didn't...

I was just like daddycee and played a Privateserver, but it was still so damn awesome xD So much content, big world, fighting is awesome etc :p

Aion is a great game and the 3.0 NA siel server is kick ass. If you get the problem of ''cannot connect to authorized server'' its simple to solve just open the ncsoft launcher click File->settings and under the Advanced tab where it says Region select North America.
The default is Europe and the EU server sucks it works with pay to win sins if you don't at least subscribe to upgrades all the in game stuff like brokers and personal shop are inaccessible. NA with even a free account you can kick ass. If you login to Siel server say hallo My character is Hexes in game I lead the FAXION legion.
