Best Prince Of Persia game?

i only meant the ones from the UBISOFT prod. the classics are the classics no need to even compare them with these because they started the POP francihse.

I prefer the 2nd one but I must say that I played them in this order: 2-3-1.

Maybe that's the reason why I prefer it to the others.

Hear Hear! I finished the classic 2 years ago (when I was 16). When I was 8 I played in a schools computer cause I didnt have a computer...and me not knowing nothing about a computer and trying to pass one level...damn that's hard!!!

:) That's one thing I loved about it too! I always thought that if I had the money I would "make" a house a bit rustic and stuff, a bit like in the game....but I cant let a game interfer in my life. LOL

The first prince was indeed the one that went to save the princess...but just because the objective is the same doesnt mean that would be considered a pop game. According to that, we could say that super mario was a good prince of persia cause he had to save the princess. No, we must consider the princes personality, the scenerio, everything.

The 2008 prince was an arrogant prince, careless, metrosexual looking (a bit like final fantasy) unlike the 1st prince.

The prince from the trilogy was humble, the scenario was heavily infuenciated by the original prince game, and the princess was there, even though she wasn't the main objective of the game.

Not necessarily underrated, I only think the trilogy is under appreciated by gamers.

The sands don't make a PoP game, but it's unique puzzles and platforming does.
AC is stealing the spotlight with its smooth platforming/parkour and (maybe?) better combat. If somehow AC decided to have 'wall running' then BAM I think PoP will lose its relevance. I would like to see PoP goes back to sword fighting as its focus, much like the classics and PoP3D.

Yeah, I knew pop was going to die when I saw the first ac. MAde by the same studios and very similar to pop...it was pretty obvious they were doing a transition....and imo, they are already wearing ac out, so I t hink they'll do a couple more games and move to another game within the same genre.

Prince of Persia 2008.
It was mostly easy and relaxing to play. Huge sweeping music and wonderful scenery. The fights were stupid, and it got repetitive fast but theres no other game like it. I must have played it about 10 times. I also enjoyed the dialogue between the 2 characters. He was a douche, but funny.
