Damn right kokonut, I recall around 8 years ago, even my most "trusted" computer mags all went to the darkside, and become bitches of the corporate giants.

The everyday mans review is what I take into consideration, anything "business" related is always corrupt these days.

I dont think reviews are bought. Ya gotta accept that a lot people love games like that and most dont care about being limited, the DRM or being ripped off with DLCs.

Guess the promblem is just that gaming is a huuuuge market now and most of the buyers are people who just want to click some buttons for few hours and the rest doesnt matter for them. All you can do about it is to support other devs (and obviously now buying this games...though most arent even worth downloading either)

While not everything is corrupted..corruption on any level regarding business, reviews, whatever has always been there in some form or fashion long, long before the Internet.

It's just now we see and read everything online and it's just more noticeable. Bad business practices are nothing new.
