Cant think of many things that may cause this...close other applications while running the game so you dont have software compatibility issues...other than that I have no idea.

update your direct x, if that dosnt work please uninstall your amd drivers then download driver cleaner pro

http://tehparadox.com/forum/f51/driv...er-pro-2816758

restart into safe mode by pressing f8 rapid tap (doesnt have to be fast taping) until you get to advance settings. if you do not get into advance settings before windows logo shows up restart pc again and tap faster until u get the advance settings menu. once you get it select safe mode then install the program driver cleaner pro once installed run it and select every thing to do with amd by checking the box and adding it to the list then once u select every thing of amd clean it. then do it 3 more times to be sure all the stuff has been removed from your pc. then restart and download the latest amd drivers from
www.amd.com

Are you using onboard sound card? if so there is a issue with the realteck drivers and punkbuster software that causes crashes and BSOD after a couple min of gameplay.
The fix...
http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-3/1455182-fix-battlefield-3-bad-company-2-realtek-bsod.html
I personally used this and it worked perfect, In addition to this guide I also uninstalled the remove wat activator as I read that this could also be causing issues. Also best option if possible is to use another sound card. Good luck

Uhh...try not to do that. I'm not sure, but maybe overheating? Do you have fans in your computer or is it placed in a well ventilated area?

There are a few reasons for BSOD. Drivers, Ram, Page Filing on the HDD, or heat/overclocking. These are usually the main reasons. Try to check these one by one and make sure they are all working.

question do you perchance have 2 monitors or a monitor and a TV plugged into that graphics card? When i had my tv and my monitor cloned to one another and launch battlefield i would get a blue screen as well. Just a thought.

I also have an ATI card (4870x2)

Helo guys!

Ive recently installed this game into my rig.. played it for a couple of times but suddenly get tired with it because of the appcrash issues and crash to desktop causing by the directx failure which stated my GPU is runnning out of memory??? WTH!

Its one of the best FPS game this year (i vote for it..haha) and i would really like to finish it, but with all these error make me tired!

It would be awesome if some guru here would suggest or know a better solution. I have already downclocked my Sonic speed, increasing the windows page files, even edit the bcdedit (revert back to default due to not cure the prob) all that i found on the net but not working! Gaming on it for just only 15-20min and its crashed to desktop again and again! But never got into BSOD..

So, anyone here got the same prob and solution for it??
I've latest DirectX, latest gpu drivers...

Here's my add info of my rig:
Intel i5 2500K running 4.5GHZ
Asus P8Z68-V
Corsair 2x2GB DDR3
Palit GTX260 Sonic with driver version 285.62
CM 850W PSU
Win 7 Ultimate 64bit

Already checked my spec on the net says it can run the game on minimum req. Just need to upgrade the gpu to get into recommended spec (but no money for upgrading for the time being :D)

I also gaming on NFS Shift2, Skyrim, Dirt2 n 3, no issues on this..
