could not locate max payne 3 game executable on local machine

i have done what people have say do to me.....................but the problem is not struct at the initializing screen.......................after freshly installing the game in new drive............
right now im getting this problem " could not locate max payne 3 game executable on local machine please re-install from original media.."

i did nt even change the name of the max payne folder or change the folder to another location...................so plzzzz help and plzz even tell me the problem..............

have you actually copied the crack and profile folder over to rockstar social folder?

i havent done that...........because i dont have any crack folder in black box rip...........

before that at my first installation i downloaded reloaded crack and update........
if u want me to paste the crack(crack and profile)of reloaded to documents-rockstar-social club
then i will paste it.........if not i will do what were u say.......plz help me/......

Can you give exact link to source/thread where you downloaded game?

In mean time use reloaded crack...follow this notes...and CHECK did you make mistakes while install...

1. Unrar
2. Burn or mount the image
3. Install the game. When it tries to get updates after install, abort
Then install the required game updates found in the Crack\Updates dir on
DVD4 (Launcher, Social Club, MP3 main game
4. Copy over the "profiles" dir, also found in the Crack dir on DVD4 to

i copied the profile which in the reloaded file(crack) to the rockstar social club...............
even then its cuming same problem.........
and one more thing i found only profile folder in rockstar social club folder.......
i just copied the profile folder only to rockstar social club folder.............

I give up, I dont know what else to say. Hope someone else will help. I dont have that game so dont know what is problem you get.

As I see on piratebay, your game does have included crack (reloaded), and its set to do it auto. But that "auto" can fail so you may need to do some things manually.

Here are notes:

Please make sure of these programs are installed
properly before launching the game 1. Social Club 2.MP3_Launcher. They are already included in setup
process, but incase of anything happends. They are in 'isoRedist'.

Also setup process do copy folder 'profiles' to 'DocumentsRockstar GamesSocial Club', if it didnt go well do it manually.
Its in the game folder.

Make sure that 'MaxPayne3.exe' is blocked by firewall from going online.

Be sure that your PC is offline before running game. Disconnect wire/wifi if you are not sure how to work with firewall.

wen i installed this game for the first time it gave me an error of initiallising (0xc000135), so i installed .net framework now "could not locate mp3 game executable on local machine"
wat do i do? i have win xp sp3. i checked redist also every thing is fine. plz help...

Simple fix;

open regedit.

navigate to; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 3.

open up the string "install folder" and change this to the directory max payne is installed on. eg; C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\MaxPayne3

this should now stop you receiving this error
