Default Darksiders, Death vs. War, which one is cooler?

Its War imo, just remember when he told the council " TO HELL WITH YOUR CLAIMS!", I could have cried that moment lol

War!! He looks so huge and badass, he's not afraid of anything and make it seem he's immortal.

Death looks like a playboy horseman and I hate the fact that he hides behind a mask. Don't get me wrong, he looks badass, but now War-level badass. I also prefer Ruin to Despair.

War. War just needed 1 weapon really to kill. Death constantly needs upgrades.

Death looks like a ninja where war looks like a Viking. I guess characters in game also know that lol remember when he told Azrael "not yet", hes the fuking angel of death and he is afraid, Samael literally mocks death in the second game, but war, nobody mocks him, hes just too angry to be mocked with...

I also love when War says "Angel of death"

I feel like War=Kratos and Death=Dante. Both are cool, but I'd prefer to swing a slow, giant-ass sword once and kill everything than wield blades that have to be swung dozens of times.

Like Tony Stark said: The best weapon is one you only have to fire once.

I'm not a particular dark kind of guy, despite the nickname I carry in the virtual realms, but I'm more of a substance over style. To clarify:

Brad Pitt as Joe Black is a perfect impersonation of Death. Put aside the storyline of the said movie and look at it this way. Death is everywhere, all the time, but we don't perceive it as such, therefor, it looks like an average guy walking the street. Just put some black outfit on it/him, give it a bit of macabre touch and voila. Think eye glow of angels and demons in Constantine.

When it comes to anthropomorphized War, I would have gone with a guy in a suit. Nuff said there.

All that aside, I envy your talent if you're the one who made those.

Not a videogame fan are you? Those pictures relate to Darksiders, starring War, and its recently released sequel, Darksider II, starring Death.

Going to go for the less mainstream route and pick Death. I just prefer agility over the brute force style.

Poll was not about the style, it was about the charisma...

Death is like Anakin Skywalker and war is like Darth Vader, u know what I am saying.

Same kind of debating also happened with the TV show supernatural, Alastair vs. Azazel, Azazel was Azazel with his yellow eyes but Alastair was more awesome

"Alastair: [coughing] Something caught in my throat. [pause] Alastair: I think it's my throat."

I prefer War even for agility. War's dash was cool and unlimited. Death's is only able to do 3 then he stops for a good 2 seconds. War could double jump, something that still annoys me is that Death can't.

The only agility that Death has that War hasn't is the ability to wall run, that for me, isn't good enough considering what was taken away.

Also, War could glide, Death can't. War could grab any edge, Death can only grab those wodden ones. He can't climb a 3 meters wall because it isn't made of wood, even though the edge stays at his waist height at the peak of the jump.

Agreed. I can't stand that Death can't grab anything unless it's a wooden step. That's really really annoying. It feels that even though War lost all his power, all his ability he was still more respected than Death. Hell when War got the Scythe he was able to use certain abilities better than Death and made it into a great chain combo. In order to use the spinning scythe attack with death I have to use a very very specific combo. That's annoying >.<

Also...WHERE'S MY DOUBLE JUMP!!!

The poll could've been about anything regarding the two protagonists, tbh. :p

You see mate it says there "Which one is cooler?" Not generally better or flexible, or is better lovemaker

Lol, I can't believe I have to explain the definition of the expression "cool".

Quote:
Cool (aesthetic)

Something regarded as cool is an admired aesthetic of attitude, behavior, comportment, appearance and style, influenced by and a product of the Zeitgeist. Because of the varied and changing connotations of cool, as well its subjective nature, the word has no single meaning. It has associations of composure and self-control (cf. the OED definition) and often is used as an expression of admiration or approval. Although commonly regarded as slang, it is widely used among disparate social groups, and has endured in usage for generations.
