Default Diablo 3 Emulator Servers in the works!

As there are many Diablo fans on the forum, but don't want to support a company that wants its customers to singleplayer online aswell, be patient and there is hope. Apparently a Diablo 3 server emulation project has started, and supposedly there are other similar projects aswell to make the game pirateable.

Check these links out:

Not sure if anything of this already really works (haven't tested myself), but feel free to try.

If anyone got more info on this, feel free to share.

Yeah! I hope this succeeds. I hate logging in just to play single player.

That's nice to hear. I absolutely despise having to log in & depend on someone else's servers to play the single player -- the doubts all came true earlier in the week as Blizzard couldn't handle it. What a disgrace. People wouldn't mind so much if multiplayer wasn't available but you could do single player over and over again.

I really disagree with forcing your customers to depend on their servers for a single player experience so I'm voting with my wallet. I'm not buying the game and have convinced my brother (who re-played D1 & D2 for the lead up to this) not to buy it.

Good news

To hell with Blizzard and their Online DRM sh*t (plus the 60 Euros price tag for their pile of overhyped software with dated graphics...)

I want to play my Single player games without the need of an internet connection.
I hope they make an emulator successful to teach Blizzard a lesson

i pre-ordered the game but canceled it.. i dont mind paying for an entire game but not for half game and double the price... so i do hope they make an emulator and teach blizzard a lesson...

They had to go mainstream. I was thinking about buying this game like the others, bat now i just don't know. And the DRM thing, I don't give a f*** about multiplayer, All I wanted was a great story and long single player campaign.

I felt the same way all of you here does, but my love for Diablo 3 exceeded my hate for Blizzard and so I gave in and bought a copy the other day. I'm sorry for being weak. good luck to all the emulator's creators. hope they succeed soon.

If you love the game, buy the game.

What's the point of using emulator just to enjoy the single player? Why hate the method? Multiplayer is enjoyable as well.

AFAIK, Diablo 3 team has created the map so big that if u play just alone, it would be boring to the max.
