In the parts that nobody cares about you perhaps make 80-100$ a month.
In most european countries you earn 80€ a day on minimum wage.

Like someone already wrote before, there is nothing to crack. It's basically a MMO game.

The only option is server emulation, but that will take some time. If you want to play it anytime soon, buy it.

1:0 for them. :(

I'm fine with paying $15-$20 for the occasional great game after I know it's great, but I'm never going to shell out $60+ for a game sight unseen again. (Looking at you Dragon Age 2). Steam is my savior, giving me awesome games for under $10, but Blizzard doesn't sell on other digital services, and still wants $25 for the Diablo 1&2 collection. That's absurd.

Stay awhile, And listen...

I can remember playing Diablo 1 for days on end, And still not have finished the game.

I can remember playing Diablo 2 for weeks on end, And still not have finished the game.

Nowadays, A good game, That can be 100% completely finished, In less than two days, Will cost between $50 and $100, With almost, If not no replay value.

If Diablo 3 is even remotely like its predecessors, $100 for it is peanuts, Given the almost ridiculous amount of time you will spend, And enjoyment you will get, In playing it.

I was only too happy to pre-order D3 as soon as pre-ordering became available. So, In a few days time, While a lot of you are still here, Whining, Moaning and complaining about the cost of the game, Or slinging insults at each other, Regarding how itll be cracked/bypassed, If it will be cracked/bypassed, And when the crack/bypass will be released, I'll be in sanctuary, Hacking and slashing with an ear-to-ear grin on my face.

I don't speak for anyone else, but I for one fully intend to not care.

H8ters and fanboys need to be more at each others throats .... need some proper popcorn drama once in a while and haven't had any recently.

@nole

You wanna know why the Diablo Battlechest is still 25 bucks ? Because even 12 years after it's release D2 is STILL one of the best GAMES money can possibly buy. It's a bold claim but easily backed up by the number of ppl still playing (and buying!) D2 to this very day.

Same with Starcraft and (I hate myself for saying this) Counterstrike for example.

Over here you can walk into pretty much every supermarket/grocery store and pickup a copy of D2+LOD for like €9.99 - 14.99. 12 years after it's release .....

Now please explain what's so absurd about charging 25 bucks for one of the best games of all times (and one of the most successfull ones) bundled with D1 and LOD and a bunch of extra stuff. To me that's not absurd at all. To me that's a steal (with some nostalgic value, I admit) and I am far from beeing a Blizzard fanboy (ever wonder why there are only fanboys and no fangirls ? ^^).

troll harder.

And the price is still dropping on amazon, now it's 50€ here. I guess the local electronic markets will be selling it for about 35-40€. It was the same situation with Starcraft II.
Everybody who bought it for more than 55€ via the Blizzard shop for example, is simply a giant idiot and has never learned to compare prices.
