Never.
And by never I mean NEVER.
If youŽd read a bit more about the game you want to pirate so hard and followed the discussions youŽd know that by now.

Between people saying NEVER and those saying OF COURSE, I feel the thread is a bit confusing, if not misleading, so let me shine some light on the issue.

The people saying 'Never' are technically right, in the sense that what we have is a 'dumb client' and that most of the critical processes of the game, including scripts, AIs, and much more, is entirely server side, and difficult to truly reproduce, because our client never gets much of the key data we'd need. So no, we can't ever expect a 100% accurate copy of the 'legit' experience, unfortunately.

HOWEVER, this is true for every MMORPG as well, and as everyone SHOULD know, there are -excellent- private servers that come extraordinarily close to replicating a pure vanilla experience (admittedly, in a sea of bad private servers). These take alot of time to create, and means emulating with homegrown code every single aspect of the game that's server side. It generally takes a year for a good general approximation of the initial game to come out, for major titles, give or take based on your tolerance level for faultiness.

So the bottom line: Diablo 3 won't be perfectly 'cracked' ever, but there WILL eventually be remarkable emulation if we go by past experiences. Even mature emulation is a far cry from the real thing, as you've got no real guarantees your server will exist tomorrow, you have to trust private admins with everything, your game depends on volunteers and enthusiasts NOT burning out about that particular project, etc... but if you're willing to live with all that, you'll get something close to the real thing, eventually.

I hope this answers the questions more clearly.

I bought it, played through the first act yesterday and it's badass. Nubs get on metacritic and spam their bullshit reviews for every game now, doesn't mean shit. There are a few games that come out a year that deserve $$, and D3 is one of them. The DRM thing is kinda weak, but it's just the way things are gonna go, and it's probably gonna save pc gaming in the end. Developers want steamworks(even though there's a workaround) or something like it or it wont develop for PC. "Pirates" arguing the DRM thing is hella funny.

It's a good game, buy it unless you really can't afford it and need to pirate and wait. My nephews and nieces and their friends area all playing already so I figure I join them today :)

Having played for quite a few hours i have to sadly agree with the review...
Although i wouldnt give it 3.5 lol, but no more than 5.5

Such a letdown :S A diablo only in name, feels more like a clone than the real thing

Back to look forward to Path of the Exile and torchlight 2...

i also start to wonder now because of this review,i wait diablo 3 review on gamerankings,i played beta its good game but i agree its overhyped.ill buy it when able simply because its diablo and i waited so long, sadly concept is worse, more action oriented though i like it how fast-paced is its not exactly diablo style.only because of diablo i dont hate blizzard.anyway i cant wait to go to hell and beat the crap out of diablo and others.
and i agree torchlight looks much more promising
p.s. but still think guild wars 2 will be greater

Torchlight 2 will be kick ass because it's gonna be 20 bucks and include co-op. I would doubt it's gonna be to the scale of Diablo 3...but then again for 20 bucks it may be a better value overall. GW3 will likely crush them both. If it's anything like the first, it should knock out most MMO's.
