GRID2 Multiplayer Query

I got GRID2 today and installed the following MP crack from the thread below

Could anyone tell me if they have also used the same one and got it working?

Yes after applying mp crack sign in to steam client in order to play online.

Somehow I have a very uneasy feeling about logging into steam while you have a pirated steam version of a game running. Not sure why I see this as a huge risk that makes me so uneasy. I mean, c'mon ... it's absolutely safe, right ? I mean ... someone ... somewhere ..... yeah, that person ... the guy who used to date my brothers friends mothers sister ... he said it's safe so it must be true!

Seriously guys, do you honestly think the steam guys are unable to detect piracy ? Just because they don't immediately act on it doesn't mean they never will.

How is that any safer ? The account you use matters very little when it comes to legal trouble. They got your ip and every single IP you ever logged in from with any of your accounts. Do you honestly believe you're "safe" just by using a fake account ? C'mon Phenom, you know better than this.

If you really must play a pirated version online at least use a proper VPN and a transparent proxy to hide your real ip. Or just buy the damn game if you like it that much.
