Guild Wars 2 CE Prepurchase ???...

So I walked into my local GameStop today to prepurchase the CE of Guild Wars 2. I'm not familiar with they're rewards site but I was told at the time of the purchase that they don't have a physical beta key to give me and that it will be accessible from the rewards site account. Does anyone use this regularly? I see no indication I even bought the game even though on my receipt the account was used. Perhaps it takes time to update my recent orders on the site? If I've read correctly nothing is stopping GameStop from preselling the game but they are probably not going to release the keys until the 10th of this month. As far as the beta key I will need to use with the guild wars site is a notification sent to my e-mail, text, etc? Also, I would consider this to be a pre-purchase considering they've already collected the full amount out of my bank account. Needless to say getting this hasn't been the most straight forward or readily available Collectors Edition.

Has anyone else done this so far?

This won't happen until the 10th because technically you can't prepurchase until then

gamestop broke street date and started doing it early (grabbed one online) but there have been no beta keys given to them at this point

I thought what they're referring to are the distribution of the beta keys and not preselling the game itself? I wish they had maybe taken some time out of the 4 or so years making this game to have setup an easier explanation. I was told at the gamestop that they weren't actually selling those pre beta key boxes there and that the keys would be accessible from their powerup rewards site. If I don't have my beta key on the 10th I guess I'll have to head back to GameStop and refund and redo the transaction. :/
