Can't really say anything to help. but my specs are:
intel quad core Q9330 2.5GHz.
4GB DDR2
HD5770 1gb
And I could play on max with constant 30 fps (but really smooth) @ 1280x768.

Well your graphics card is not really high end.
This card is not ment to play games with, itīs really low end and will bottleneck your system.

Was about to say, the 520 is low end of the 500 series. I have the 550 Ti and I can play it ok with that.

edit: The 550 Ti just bench'd at 49.6 fps average on high settings.
I have a Q6600 2.4GHz NOT overclocked with 4GB 800MHz DDR2 ram.

So yeah, look at upgrading that GPU if you want to play it at decent settings.

I'd be surprised if the 520 could even play crysis well on low. Need to upgrade to at least a 580 for high performance

The GT 520 isn't even on the same playing field as a GTX 550Ti. Mainly it being GT are all super crap budget cards. Onboard Intel graphics do better, no joke. It's honestly that bad. GT 430 would have been better, but not by much. The entire GT line is a waste of money for gaming. It's Nvidia's trap.

First you need to define what's cheap to youy. I personally think the GTX560ti is a good purchase for it's price.

I don't know what I was thinking when I posted my previous comment, I noticed the graphic card but thought it was another. My bad.
