I used my Razor Copperhead for nearly 5 years and switched lastyear to the Razor Imperator. I never got any problems with my Copperhead but it was time for something new, the feeling in my hand was a bit odd after all this years.
The Copperhead is still in use of my Brother now.

I have had my mouse for nearly six and a half years. It's a basic optical mouse from Microsoft, and has never given me any trouble.

My G9 has lasted me about 3 years so far. Just clean it regularly and don't throw it against walls or whatever you currently do that breaks them, and you'll be alright.

I guess keeping receipts, boxes, etc from original purchases pays off :)

The original Intellimouse wheel mice had a lifetime warranty. (recent ones have a shorter warranty.. 2 or 3 years now)

Even better was the fact that we ran a business where we purchased hundreds of these mice back in the day and still have cases of them. We keep them for ourselves now and don't use them for our clients. We figure that the sun will go nova long before we run out of mice that Microsoft is required by law to replace for free :)

I used to fax my info to Microsoft Supplemental Parts with a photocopy of the bottom of my mouse, showing the Product ID (PID) information on the mouse.
They have done away with that need and all you need to do now is call 1-(800)-360-7561 and speak with someone about replacing your mouse. Tell them that your Intellimouse is broken, and give them the PID of it. You will receive a new one via UPS in a few days :)

Although the new replacement mouse will carry the current warranty; which varies from 2-5 years; it's still not bad :)

Yeah I realize that once I got the mouse, I was not planning to buy a gaming mouse and wanted a basic mouse but all the basic mouse was too small don't matter what store in my area. So I got impatient and got the Deathadder because of it size.(I had no backup mouse so I needed something quickly) I think of it as a learning experience and overall I happy with the mouse.

I'm still using my trusty Logitech MX518 which i have had now for over 4 years.
It's the most comfortable mouse i've ever owned.
