Help How to take screenshots in games that don't let you?

How do you take screenshots in games that don't let you? I press printscreen in game and then go back to Windows to paste it into Paint but it is all black. Is there a good way around this?

BTW: I'm using Windows 7 x64 with NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460 video card.

Use fraps or Xfire.

You can use MSI Afterburner to clock/monitor your video card and that has a built in screen shot hotkey you can setup should work great with that 460 actually.

Fraps is the only thing you need.

You can customize the format and bind any key to it. It's also a breeze to video capture in HD too. Just download the latest version from this forum.

if you dont have any specific software you can always try the prt scr key. it wont work all the time (like in crysis) but some times you can get good results.
after you have pressed it alt tab out, open paing click on the white box and pres ctrl+v
you should have a screeny ready to save... remember to use jpeg format to save space.

but i do recommend as others have fraps. its sweet that you can set it to cap every 10 seconds(configurable) selected save formats and great quality...
add in its other functions and you have 1 of the sweetest apps on the market for gamers.
