Default Question about Burning ISO Files

Hi all, just a quick question: What is the point of downloading an ISO file, when the game rips have the same function? Hopefully I am wrong, but I see no reason to burn an ISO file to a cd. Unless there is some added benifit (if there is then plz tell), it just seems like a waste of a cd.

I remember when I downloaded my first file and was all exited because I thought that it would operate just like the actual game disk. How disappointed I was to find out that once I tried to update it with an official patch, I had to download the accompaning crack just to play. I guess my real question is, is there anyway to make an ISO file run like the real (retail) version of the game?

Plz don't get me wrong, I am not complaining at all. I love this site, and besides, everything is free. But if there is a way, could someone plz let me know? Thanks a bunch

PS: Sorry for the long post. I just felt like rambling. Plz don't hold it against me. Lol. (oh crap I'm doing it again)

One thing is for archival purposes. Some people don't want to have to redownload the game or have the hard disk space taken up with installation files. Sometimes, it's just easier to burn it to a disc and stick it in a pile with the rest of them. Also, I believe there is. I have a burned copy of Oblivion around here somewhere that requires no crack and no CD key. *shrugs*

I heard Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is 11 gb which would take up a lot of space if you didn't have an external hard drive.

I archive all the games and ISO's I download with winrar in 200MB parts with a 5% recovery record. It saves me close to 400Gigs of HDD space and gives me peace of mind.

The game is released on the internet in ISO or other image formats so you can emulate the game disk with daemon tools or alcohol120, and some games might think it is the original game disk and not ask for a crack. Other games need you to emulate or have a burned copy inside the drive AND also need the crack to run.

Emulating saves you time and money (no need to buy blank disks)

Is it PC games or console game, sorry I haven't heard of Naruto game in PC.
If it's a console game, you should burn it though.
