Race Driver Grid.

If you like simulation rather than arcadee(?) games, i'd go for that. Very rewarding game to play, with some gorgeous visuals!

Dirt 2 is a great game, and looks stunning if you have the PC muscle for it...only criticism I have of it is that while driving the cars, they all feel a little "floaty", the steering action feels very exaggerated (which, of course, for off-road racing, it would be more so in real life, but even so...)... for a real sense of "weight", try NFS:Shift. Take off the driving aids and take a corner too fast and see what happens. The developer has really nailed the feeling of desperately trying to keep the car on the track, including frantic pumping of brakes and me and the controller leaning to help the weight shift ! I have to mention the sound design for NFS as well. If you play through a 5.1 it sounds INCREDIBLE... the sound of your tires starting to skitter as you begin to lose grip (and possibly control) on a bend is real heart-thumping stuff as you see your rival looming up in your rear-view mirror...

I'd love to play Shift with something like the Logitech G25...

test drive U might be a little aged but I really liked it. for once, I purchased the game(uncommon for me).

I like the sense of freedom and the feel of owning cars... its just a car enthusiast game.

DiRT 2 is the best gfx wise on pc at the moment. and the gameplay does sound fun, but it is lacking the GT/Forza feel..

I'd say Test Drive Unlimited, that game is so overlooked as its aging a little.

my recommendation is nfs shift, it is totally different from previous versions, and it looks much more like a simulation... i love it:)
