I doubt that he even tried, otherwise it would already be cracked. No doubt about that. GTAIV was cracked early on and I'm sure their protection was leaps and bounds above this game. Unfortunately for us, this game is just not nearly as popular.

I agree with Sylas. The whole reason why it has not been cracked is it's popularity. Half the game has already been cracked in Russian. Razor would of easily cracked it in english. It would of been like breakfast for him probably. I doubt Razor even knows of this game or has any interest at this time.

Yeah I figured it was a group. I always talk as if it is one person sometimes. I know they used to work for atari or something.

So i the problem lies within asf.dll, forcing the game to start in russian. After analysis of activate.dll, it seems that the the original activate.dll is modified to call asf.dll somewhere in the header. Without the cracked activate.dll the game starts, but we have an english demo version...If anything, a cracker must try and modify the asf.dll so that it starts in english!

Wow...the Russian menus really throw me...but once i get the flying - its worth it. Definitely a better game then the IL-2.....

BTW, what if i offered a "donation" to anyone to can produce an English crack for the asf.dll?

Unfortunately, afaik, all the groups which do these kind of things (cracking games), they do it for only one reason - to prove they can, and also for fun of course...

That given, no money will give you crack you want... Well at least no groups such as Razor or Reloaded etc. will take it...

There is a guy named Komu that will crack it for cash and actually he cracked some pretty tough programs and then sold the crack. I think it would be much more efficient to pay the people who actually made the game, and then we could play the sequel in whatever language

can someone give me yak_3.grp and yak_7_grp.bin, i downloaded from Wings of Prey (2009) filefactory link and theres 2 file error that i cannot copy to hdd which is yak_3.grp and yak_7_grp.bin and i cant play the game after crack it (failed to launch error 00000x)

Yep, you're right. Just got myself a bit frustrated bcoz another flight game DCS Blackshark, I actually bought the CD and used my 3 activations..now even with the crack i cant use it unless i probably reformat my computer. Sometimes - not always - I feel us gamers get "shafted" I guess forcestar is just not very consumer friendly. Only my opinion...

I'm so sorry you can't understand what i'm saying but i already solve my problem about cracking my game, i forget to copy asf.dll to game folder, but i'm still need yak_3.bin and yak_7_grp.bin for 1.0.0.9, i can't play using that plane it always gives me an error (crash to desktop)

I don't have a yak_7_grp.bin but I've uploaded the other file. will post back when it's finished uploading (15mins)
