Yep Stee4...Looks like that will be the only way and it is the "right" way of doing things. I guess it's easier to say that if you cannot pay or WILL NOT pay for the game, then you must sacrifice and play with Russian text. I can accept that. If everybody just cracked this game and nobody bought it, there would never be a sequel to this awesome game.

For the meantime I'm just running the English demo of the game and the one with russian menus, its helpful a bit, along with the provided translation, it'll have to do until a crack comes out for it.

It's looking more and more like that day will never come. I'm thinking that a crack will never come out for this. Not that it would be hard to crack, but maybe the crackers want this game to be supported financially so they make another one...I dunno

I bought the program, I think part of the reason for not being able to crack it in English is that it is run by their server, this is the reason you can't get the English version, but there is a new update for it just released that lets you play the game in single person mode and mission mode. the new update might have some significance in the English crack? I am no programmer so good luck.

Hey there! I'm also one of those that is getting the (0xc0000005) error : "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."
I have tried everything that others have suggested to others getting the error, but without any luck. The demo works tho. My specs are gud. This is wat i did:
1. Downloaded the game from btjunkie
2. Installed the game successfully
3. Tried putting 1.0.0.3 crack on the 'protect.dll' file, but says "wrong version or file already patched!" - but i hadnt touched it after install. (is there a 1.0.0.3 update? coz i cant find it)
5. Updated the game to 1.0.2.1
6. Downloaded the 1.0.2.1 crack and used it to crack the 'activate.dll'. It successfully works.
7. Put the asf.dll file in the folder.
8. Double click 'aces.exe' and then comes up with the error at the top. :'( any suggstions??

mirage2k is right....it happened to me.....yes i bought it...starforce turned me into a pirate...that is what i get for doing it the right way....ignored completely by the company that received my funds..

I just don't understand it. Reloaded and Razor 1911 are still doing games and some of the games that they are cracking are ridiculous. I see cracks for "My Little Pony" and shit like that. Why oh why are they not doing this game? I'm sorry to hear about your mishap Paahtrick. This thread is almost dead and I don't see a crack coming any time soon. Hey Paahtrick, Do you think you could get some screens of the single player missions and their options with your English version? I'm talking about the missions where you can choose your planes and stuff. That would be awesome if you could.

Hey Mrman54...You didn't mention 1.0.0.9. I think that is what the downloaded game is by default. Use the 1009 crack first. Then when you update to 1021 you could use the 1021 crack

i reinstalled and used crack for 1.0.0.9 and it said crack successful! but then i double click on the aces.exe and it comes up with the xc0000005 error again. i then updated to 1.0.2.1 and without cracking yet i doubleclicked aces.exe then it came up with the 'demo mode' 'activate' etc. i thort i had done it! but then i click on 'demo mode' and it goes into the game but its actually demo mode. not the full campaign... i THEN put the 1.0.2.1 crack on the activate.dll successfull and then go into aces.exe agaim, but then it comes up with the xc0000005 error again. ffffuuuu****kkkk lol. sooo frustrating! could it be anything to do with me using windows 7 64bit? dunno. pleeeaasse help! but if u got no other solution alllguud.

After refomatting my computer i reinstalled and all was fine until i accessed my registration online...after a few minutes...then i clicked the .exe and blinks out to desktop with starforce message. Wow....so i cannot play it at all. Anyway, i learned my lesson - and if my windows didnt crash i would not have had to reformat and reactivate...i would have been fine.
