I've used Norton and Mcafee....I prefer mcafee, which is what I'm using now. Easy to disable for a specific time frame as to allow cracks and keygens through the scans.

when i used pc i thought nod32 is the best pay virus scanner, avast for free scanners. AVG sucked though! it gives lots of false positives.

I used NOD32 for a long time (legal version). After some time, my pc started slowing down. I had no idea what is wrong, performance programs said all is optimised. I decided to uninstall NOD32 and try sth else, so I went for McAfee - test found that there are many viruses in system files and documents, although NOD32 said everything is just fine. After it's cured the infections the pc's speed was fine. My firend had same problem when he used NOD. So far I am very contented with McAfee Total Security. 1-year free trial, you just gotta register and you can install it on up to 3 computers. After some time, I found out that even AVG (which I'm using now) is better than NOD32. When it comes to kaspersky (I know it's different name just cannot remember) - well, I only tried trial version but I was not satisfied. Do not know exactly why, just think that McAfee is a way better. Also, Norton Antivirus is kinda good. Try nod and mcafee, then make decision

I prefer Security Suits rather than installing different programs for every job [firewall, anti virus, etc..]. After trying different SSs, I finally settled on ESET Smart Security, it doesn't take up much system resources, it's user friendly, haven't had a problem with it.

I use AVG Antivirus 8.5, it's very good, but that's my opinion.

Currently using Avast! Anti-virus. It's pretty good. Updates automatically almost everyday and has pretty much everything I need. I use Spybot Search & Destroy for anti-spyware which is also quite good.

Kaspersky is my favourite, also its the cheapest of the paid ones if you do it properly. With kaspersky always buy one version older than the newest one then download the latest and type in the code for older version, it still works. Right now i'm using kaspersky 2010 with a 2009 code and you can buy 3 computer packs for £14 on amazon.
