Apples Attempt To Block Samsung Galaxy S III Launch Fails

Apple recently filed a motion with a court in the US in an attempt to have the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S III smartphone stopped, and now it would appear that the Judge dealing with the case has decide that Apple’s latest motion will not be heard before Samsung launches the handset on the 21st of June.

Judge Lucy Koh, who has been dealing with the case between Apple and Samsung has said that the case will not be able to be heard by the 21st of June, as it would overload her calendar.

If Apple wants to continue its attempts to have the Samsung Galaxy S III banned in the US, they will have to ask the court to hear the case at a later date, which will not be before Samsung launches the Galaxy S III.

Whether or not Apple will decide to file another motion against the device, and then get it approved remains to be seen, at least the launch of the handset will not be delayed and it should be available from the 21st of June.

1.US
2.international
3.Korean
all with different spec's.. and probably more versions coming..

i got the s3 last week and i have to say its a pretty good piece to have in my pocket, and its good a good size screen perfect to ignore the misses. battery life isn't to bad but once you start playing games its sucks it dry fast :D just my 2 bobs worth

Only got my first smartphone half a year ago, being a newb I wanted one somewhere near the 200€ price range, so am currently owning an Acer Liquid Metal S120 (had several people come up to me and say "I didn't know Acer makes phones!"

). But my next one wil be a little more costlyl most definitely be a Samsung Galaxy S something.

already have the s3 on preorder. hope it's going to be as good as the ads and specs make it out to be.

ive had all of them and love the android system once you get use to it, I love them fact its not locked down like apple (unless you jailbreak it)

once you root an droid you can install custom roms on thier without affecting the main OS and you can even back the whole system just in case and individual apps using titanium backup.

love the large screen, waiting for the blue S3 so i can get it but at the moment i have the samsung google galaxy nexus.
