Performance be damned...

the same as TensionX1.
I used FF for a long time, but then it didn't work anymore.
So I switched to chrome and I fell in love!

Firefox.

While Chrome handles certains things better than Firefox (like JavaScript execution for instance), I do not recommend this browser because Adblock does not work properly on it. Plus browsing the web while being connected to a google account on Chrome is a total nonsence privacy-wise.

Stick to Firefox with Adblock+ and Ghostery installed.

while chrome is nice and all, for now I still stick with Firefox because of my dependency to some FF addons that only FF have it, like noscript and scrapbook

I mostly use chrome. And since I use chrome, I usually have allot of tabs open in chrome, which means that it puts a bigger load on my computer. So, if I'm playing a game and want to quickly use the internet, I close chrome and use firefox instead. (because I don't usually use firefox, and FF will have only 1 or a few tabs open; Thus, less load on the computer while playing my games.)

For me, both FF and chrome are good browsers, But i prefer chrome because it has an official dictionary addon (by google) which works really nicely.

Also, using google chrome, If you sign into google chrome on another computer, it will automatically download and install your addons on that computer.

Have been using Firefox for years, Never have I had any freezing problems on 6 plus different computers.

I would look at updating drivers and downloading latest version of Firefox, wouldn't recommend anything else for PC or MAC.
