I am offended by that statement.
1. I am a US citizen, but I do not support these practices.
2. I do vote, and every politician out there is crap, they say one thing on election day and do something else after elected.
3. I don't have a choice to pay taxes, the government gets there money before I do.

In essence, what I got out of what voodu was saying wasn't anything offensive.
He seemed to be speaking more in the light of what Henry David Thoreau is talking about in 'Civil Disobedience' regarding how government works and how to disassemble a faulty one.
Also Ron Paul seemed like he had alot of interesting things to say and stood by his word on shutting down a lot of texas big business shadiness in the past.
Yet, he is pretty much shut out of the race so you are once again presented with the problem of choosing between the greater evils.
It seems the voting process is more skewed than the judicial system.
Everyone has the choice to pay taxes, and if the government is getting your money before you than I would go off the grid because that seems alot like indentured servitude or slavery to me. No offense.
