It's my understanding Fileserve is trying to weed out the leech sites, you know, those sites that give you premium access for very low prices to multiple host sites. They buy one premium account and share/sell it with hundreds. And now this cookie sharing stuff. If this is true, I don't blame him, people are stealing. Sometimes real paying customers get caught in the crosshairs. I don't think there is a limit for legitimate users.

The main problem seems to be the slow support. They are reported to ignore messages left on the main Fileserve page. The owner (RickyFS) hangs out at the WJunction forum and he does appear to fix problems if you PM him there. But you shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get a problem resolved. Customer service is important and will surely cost him in the long run.

Hello, I started getting these "errors" roughly about about a week ago, but they only lasted a day or so (if that). Now once in a great while I'll get the error, but then try it (the link) again a few minutes later and it works fine. Maybe it is a different error I am getting occasionally now than the banning error since I didn't pay too close of attention to what error # it was? Anyways, this is a bummer because I've always really liked FileServe.

Also, somebody was saying earlier that there were bad reviews regarding the FileServe Download Manager. I just started using it recently and I don't see any problems with it....so far.

Got banned last week for account sharing. I never shared my account. They wont respond to any emails. I cant believe that they can get away with this. I purchased it from their website.

I also had my account disabled last week, messaged Fileserve help support which gave me some generic answer as to why it was disabled. Couldn't find any answer, so i started googling and found a thread by RickyFS, i Pm'd him there if he could explain why i was disabled, long story short he re-enabled my account, should give him a pm and you'll never know might be lucky as myself and get your account back.

This guy RickyFS is a complete jerk, if you say anything he doesn't want to hear he just cusses you out and does nothing to fix the problem. Literally some of the worst customer service I've seen on the net. MU never sent you a reply but generally whatever issue you had would be fixed fairly quickly. These people at FSrv send replies but they are generic at best and downright offensive at worst. Now they closed affiliate accounts and didn't payout to a lot of people, but honestly not a surprise. It has been amusing to see how this RickyFS guy is suddenly not such a big man anymore, no cussing or swearing, no nothing. He hasn't bothered to answer anyone, he just closed down the support thread and ran. I hope he ran fast because if they can go to New Zealand and drag the MU CEO out they can damn well do what they want.

My Fileserve was just banned too. So what host should I go to now? Which is the best and most likely not facing anti-piracy threat right now?
