New GeForce 3D Vision

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced, or even owns a pair of the GeForce 3D Glasses, and if they work well enough to even consider buying? They look impressive, but do they really work?

Who would have thought? I have a geforce 9500 GT graphics card, and it requires an 8800 or above? 9500 is a higher number, and several times more than 280. Why the heck don't they use the higher numbers as the higher spec cards to make the purchase of these components fool proof (gandolph proof at least)?

Default Re: GeForce 3D Vision

the big kicker is that you need a 120hz screen so either buy the bundle (in uk they pushing that with sammy) or an old school crt

heard some impressive reviews but depends on game you play i guess

different technologies are used. the one used by nvidia isnt too good for your eyes. the oldschool: one blue eye and one red, is fine and i'm guessing what you use

I tried that software driver thing with a pair for 3D glasses but it didn't work for me :(

The pair I have don't look like 3D glasses because the lenses aren't coloured red/blue or whatever, they are perfectly clear. And they are 3D because I saw Ice Age 3 in 3D at the cinema with them. But they don't seem to work on anything else apart from the film!
