Star Ghetto Mod Thread - Homemade Hardware Mods

This Old 128mb ATI Card was in dire need of upgrade when I Tried playing skyrim at work, No dice... GPU kept over heating with its stock heatsink, so after a few broken P3's, Masking tape and zip ties later, I built a new heatsink which lets me play it at 20 fps on low.
Definitely Noisy, Compared to my GTX460 running at about 90% Fan speed, which is LOUD.

It sits an a Dell Optiplex 280. Luckily the OEM Mobo in it has all of it's Sata/IDE ports along the the frontside of it, otherwise this would probably cover them.

Due to insurance reasons we can't replace the hardware, but Nobody else seemed to mind me hacking at the old P3's we had with a screwdriver, Recycling them for a better cause.

Hot damn that is how it's done. Closest thing to a mod i've got is duct taped a mic to my headphones.
