What is Hive-CM8 and what does it mean if the audio was taken from a Hive-CM8 source and added to a movie? Should someone that is looking for better quality wait for a release of a non Hive-CM8?
That just sounds like a compromise of quality, but not knowing I thought I would ask. Seems most searches of such only find movies that use Hive-CM8 not any discussing or info regarding what it is.

Typically with an R5 rip (region 5) it's video from a DVD but the audio is foreign language, they need to find an English audio source and in this case the best audio at the time was from the group Hive-CM8.
If you're willing to wait for better quality it may be tomorrow or it may be months when the true DVDrip comes out. Your choice.

i dont believe it has anything to with audio and cm8 is not a format of any kind that ive ever heard of so its nothing to do with sources, cm8 is the group doing the ripping or converting, they generally state their source in their nfos and hq hive is i think one of their sources....or something like that, could be wrong though

I think the group that releases that movie is CM8, and Hive is the group with the audio.

CM8 is the group/site
Hive is the encoder

Releaser old name was Hive.
now a days same user change his/her release name with CM8, which is too popular in p2p.
Now that releaser group want to add Hive as a prefix
so whats wrong
They generally release videos in Big size (> 1 GB)
