Default JDownloader problem.

A few days ago I got a second computer to back up my old one. It is a Dell AMDx2 2.1 Ghz 150Gb HD with 2.5 Gigs of memory. I loaded all of my usual on it with Windows 7 Ultimate and of course one of the most important, JDownloader. Now for some reason I cannot download anything with it. JDownloader just keeps bringing up, "Temporarily unavailable". "Hoster Problem" or it tells you to wait a number of minutes then starts the same thing all over again. Has anyone had this problem before and what did you do about it? Please help, without being able to download, I am nothing...LOL

I did download the newest version and let it do all the update plugins. As you say I will leave it for awhile and hope something happens. Thanks karlitos.

Sounds like you may not have allowed jdownloader through the windows firewall... or maybe java hasn't been fully updated... or maybe java hasn't been allowed through the firewall... just a couple of suggestions you might wanna check to see if they fix the problem

Maybe it is perfect time to swap the download manager for something less problematic and more reliable? I recommend mipony for You. It's what I use. It works perfectly without any problems, and it doesn't eat so much of resources.

Default Do you run AVG?

Seems like I had a similar issue a while back. I ended up having to disable Avg's LinkScanner's Surf-Shield.

Thank you very much raggatokan. I finally got tired of the frustration, switched over to mipony and everything is working beautifully. Problem solved.
