Hi. I have vegas pro 11 installed however it will not open avi files. I have codecs installed that I previously used with vegas pro 10 however 11 will not reconise the codec. Does anyone know a good avi codec that will work with pro 11?

AVI is a container format, not a codec. Codecs are the audio and video streams that are contained within your AVI files.

uninstall vegas restart download klite mega codec pack and select the items you need. restart then reinstall vegas. but make sure u get all the codecs you need. so what ever codec you have in your avi you need to get as well. remember avi is just a container which means it has a file codec inside of it so you need to find out what codec the avi had.
