Netload account locked

Not sure if this is related the the other Netload problems but my account was just locked in the middle of downloading. Locked due to account sharing. Impossible unless someone hacked me somehow.

Anyone else having problems?

Scan your computer for viruses and keyloggers.

Scanning as I type. Very unlikely I have been hacked as this computer is only used to download from tehparadox. I visit very few other sites on this PC. I don't have flash installed or java and I use AD Muncher.

I have emailed them asking for proof. Don't know how long it will take them to respond.

Hope this is a mistake on their part.

I doubt it's a keylogger. My guess:

You probably got on some "black list" somehow, too much traffic? So Netload banned your account, just because they can...

Seems to be a common practice of theirs.

I just don't get it. At the moment I use Rapid Share and Netload, the latter for about 1 year. Last night I downloaded 5 bluray movies, all netload, 1 after the other and that is not unusual, over the course of a month I can download 1TB from Netload alone and never a problem.

i think the problem is within your computer...make scan...it may be a virus!!..what downloader did you use for netload??

Scanned. All clean. I use IDM. If it's sending passwords to some guy in Russia I guess my account was sold on ebay. I download a lot from Netload. 4-6 TBs a month. There are others on here that download more. Not much I can do if they don't answer my e-mail. I will just go month-to-month and use a different e-mail account. You really can't use this site without Netload.

From some of the threads I've read here it doesn't look like Netload answers very many e-mails.

I only just spotted this thread.

At EXACTLY the same as Billyboy007, my account also was blocked for the same reason.
But I have two computers and use JDownloader on both. I might be accidently been dloading on the two at the same time

I sent an email to their support address explaining it was an accident and received a response giving me one more chance (most kind!) by their op Volker. Mail also saying the account would be unlocked (i'm still waiting!).

It might be worth a try for anyone having the same issue.

++ Update ++ They've JUST managed to unlock the account.
But I suppose I'm on a blacklist

I have the same problem. Got a reply back saying the problem is being investigated with BT and SKY Telecom. I wonder if NETLOAD are blocking accounts at the request of ISPs?!

I created a new account and got banned after 2.5 hours. This is a very nasty problem. I am sure I am not at fault but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it.
