Ok, so, yes, I know full well, the rules and regs of this forum. I have read them, and abided by them, as best I can.
I have searched for what I am looking for, Through threads and threads...Through pages and pages, but none of the threads can provide me with exactly or even close to what I am looking for.
Having said that...
Given the atrocious state of http file hosting, of late, and the steady decline of megashares, I am looking for the following, and hoping - perhaps in vain - that fellow members of TP can point me in the right direction!
Let me preface this by stating that I would become a 'premium' (read: paid) member of the site/server that meets these criteria, so please do not apply 'free' user limitations to the following!!
I am looking for an http file host that meets the following conditions:
1) Is used regularly by regular uploaders on TehParadox
2) Does NOT limit total downloads/downloads per month etc.
3) Does NOT delete files regularly/routinely/immediately etc.
4) Has its own search engine or a RELIABLE search engine, to provide finding older files
5) Does NOT limit/throttle download speed during 'peak' hours
So, basically, what I am looking for, is a 'current' version of megashares, before they fell into the deep dark filehost abyss!!
If ANYONE can help me, I'd be immensely appreciative!!
Cheers in advance.

I think ul.to meets your conditions except for point 4 AFAIK. I plan to quit RS for this host because RS links go down rapidly and are not common on this site.

I know about filestube but that has proven to be HIGHLY unreliable...ESPECIALLY when looking for older files...Searching for an older file, on a specific filehost, Using filestube, pretty much always gives 100s of results for letitbit and megashares...Neither of which meet even one of my criteria. Surely I'm not being THAT picky, Am I? |

What about Billion Uploads? It's pretty good with download speeds, but I'm not too sure about point 3 and 4.

Looks like to me, it's going to be Megaupload 2.0.

You can either do the private torrent websites and seedbox route, google torrent invites. Or, you can try real-debrid, fastdebrid, alldebrid, zevera, and others which let's you download from a lot of different filehosts at the same time for a low price. that is all

Uploaded.net (yes, .net, they changed their domain) should still be a decent way to go to meet most of your criteria. But as Phenom said, MegaUpload could return before the end of this year as Dotcom stated that 90% of its coding is done. I won't make any promises that it actually does, because that would be irrational. But in the meanwhile, just keep an eye out for the news in the remaining 3 months of this year, and follow his twitter feed: Code: Select All https://twitter.com/KimDotcom By the way, you should avoid any filelocker that has its own search engine. Wanting a filehost which both has a search engine, and "Does NOT delete files regularly/routinely/immediately etc.", kind of contradict eachother. Last edited by L1b3rta; 10-08-12 at 10:05 AM. |

Good point liberta the easier the search the faster they go down. I still have rs premium account but there are less and less links and they go down faster. I am trying out rapidgator but they do have a dayly limit I just found out about but really fast in my area. Uploaded .net will be next thanks for the reccomend.
