i encountered voice chat problem, noisy( scratch noise) especially yahoo messenger. i formatted my new Pc, and when we use yahoo messenger we encounter this problem. my O/s windows Xp Media center edition. intel dual core, high definition audio, motherboard unitech C2D P965 GREEN HD . this noise repeatedly. please help me. no Sir!. the connections are ok. thank You Sir for reply. im not sure if this O/S are the problem, Sir if You have Friend with the same O/s , can you ask me if he or she encounter this problem when using Voice chat. if not, maybe my hardware have problem. ohh, who can help me?.

Sounds like its a hardware issue more than anything. Maybe your microphone is dying, might try another microphone or take the microphone and try it on another computer. Also is it people hearing a scratchy noise from your end or do you hear a scratchy noise coming from whoever your talk to? | ||

thanks again, my headphone is new, and this mic also new. and we try also to another mic, but same problem. about your question.....(Also is it people hearing a scratchy noise from your end) my answer is Yes!.. (or do you hear a scratchy noise coming from whoever your talk to?) and Yes too. only voicechat have problem. and this noise repeatedly happens.. Thanks a lot Sir.

To be honest, im not sure how to solve this situation, but i suggest you try atleast the following things 1/ If the mic and headset that u bought came with driver, installer the lastest one ... 2/ Using windows update, sometime they have important hot fix for your hardware 3/ Update your motherboard driver and sound card driver if you have one 4/ Update BIOS, maybe If you got them all done but the problem still exist then im sorry, I cant help you any further .. i'll leave it to somebody else | ||
