It has been very slow since early morning today. Don't know why this is so. If they are doing maintenance work on their servers they should at least email and tell us. I would gladly pay more money to avoid this problem. Netload however, should not charge us and then leave us in this kind of position.

Definitely a netload problem. Around 3 weeks ago it was going fine @ >550KB/s, now it's ~24KB/s or so. It's an artificial limit while they're upgrading their servers I think because for every file using concurrent downloads, it's limited to the same speed.

I am downloading from netload right now at 700-800k which has been the norm for me, I did notice some slowness earlier today, I just upped my connections and number of d/ls,. but it seems to be ok for me now, guess it depends on what servers your files are on.

My speed while downloading netload files is about 50kb/s...I was downloading until recently at 130kb/s, and was more or less satisfied with it, now sites like "storage to", or "megaupload" somehow seem better to me....At storage to, at least I dont get nasty pop ups all over my screen...lol.... EDIT: I didn't want to double post, so I just edited my previus post...Anyway, netload is back!!!! Let the games begin!(I mean: let the game downloads begin..hehe...) the speed depend to your contract with your isp. My bandwith : 100 Mbps according to my experience download from several file host ( I have MU/RS/NL/X7/HF premium account) RS and NL is the fastest. I got 10 MB/s MU about 2-3 MB/s X7 about 1-2 MB/s HF is damn slow, only 500 KB/s my conclusion : HF is limited the dl speed, and so is X7 and MU RS and NL is the greatest, too bad, RS doesn't have rewards anymore. Test your speed here : Code: Select All http://www.speedtest.net/ Code: Select All http://www.ibeast.com/content/tools/band-calc.asp

Thank you, after a couple of hours I started downloading at 900 kb/s, which is the best my 7 mb bandwith can handle apparently. ^^ Download Speed: 6794 kbps (849.3 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 361 kbps (45.1 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 97 ms I live in Italy, unfortunately a 100 mb bandwith is still a dream for us. I seem to have a problem too, normally my download speed is around 800kb/s but for a couple of days it's around 100kb/s for netload. I'm using Jdownloader but downloading manually with Firefox was even slower, around 25 kb/s. Speedtest and Rapidshare seem to be fine. I tried 10 connections per file (downloading single file at a time) to no avail. Any guesses?

yes, I tried testing it on 3 different ISPs, all slow, under 20kbps and often dropping down to 0 and disconnecting.

netload is usually average at best in regards to speed but rapidshare i think is the worst of the lot
