Not sure about the best food I ever tasted, but the Four Cheese Pasta at Velentino's inside Bellagio was very, very good.

I was going to mention something I have eaten, then I remembered it wasn't really food, and I didn't really digest it. But hey, I can't recall eating anything nicer in all my 48 years.

Oh wait, I love the Italian Gnocchi, which is a pasta made from potatoes, and my ex, being from a South American country, used to make it every month.
The belief is if you eat it on the 28th of each month, it will bring wealth into the household.
Funny actually, I'm still poor, but well fed I guess.

I dont have a best food ever but i do love my dad's method of cooking lamb chops. He slow cooks with with a chicken stock with a modified satay sauce and canned tomato and when its 30 min from being ready he chucks in a few carrots and YUM! big of rice and its excellent dinner.
