I am a big fun of Cyberpunk Animes! For those who like this genre, I recommend Ghost in the Shell Series - Movies and OVA - A very well written and brilliantly executed anime, which covers the theme of virtual life, AI, Cyborgs etc. Animation is great and the scripts are deep! Akira - The legendary anime which redefined Anime! If you haven't seen it  , I suggest you do it right away!  Appleseed (Two feature length animes) - Great animation plus solid story line. It even attracted John Woo's attention who apparently overlooked the action sequences in the second film! Cowboy Bepop - Surely a collectible! The OVA is great and the film leaves you wanting for more.. The caracter of edward is enough to keep you hooked on to it!! :D Serial Experiments Lain: The story of a little girl and her voyage into the cyber world.. Very deep and a times hard to follow since the whole series is in Japanese and it is hard to find a copy with decent subs... My request to anime gurus to extend this list with their suggestions.. I would love to watch more animes of similar genres..  |

Try Dennou Coil. Dennou could be spelled Denno and Dennō too. Just a side note, I think you are mistaking an anime TV series for OVA, while both are two slightly different things. Content visible to registered users only. Join our free community today! |

Cowboy Bebop the movie is excellent, but the series is kinda lacking the pace. Maybe it's just me. Ergo Proxy? After finishing it, i still don't understand what is it all about  You can try Vexille, it's similar to Appleseed Ex Machina. |
